Julien re-opens as essential service provider

We would like to take a moment to share with you an update regarding the last communication that was sent out concerning Julien Inc. status. After discussion with the Québec provincial government, we are very proud to announce that we have been able to get approval as a manufacturer providing essential needs to our customers.

This new status allows Julien Inc. to re-open its factory, as of Tuesday, March 31st to offer the essentials services to all those who conduct business with us. Please note that our re-opening is done with a portion of our staff. All other services such as delivery and customer service will be up and running as of Wednesday, April 1st 2020.

We would also like to reassure you in the fact that we are following closely the evolution of the government recommendations and have been updating our facilities in accordance to the new sanitary and safety standard requirements. We have the best interest of all returning employees at heart and have done everything to make sure that they remain healthy.

We would also like to thank all customers who have taken the time in their busy schedules to write letters of support, claiming that we are an important part of their business, hence we should be considered and essential service. It is because of you that we managed to re-open.

Notice of Temporary Closure

Following the instruction given today by the Quebec Government, we inform you that JULIEN must close starting Tuesday March 24th at 4pm EDT until April 13th 2020.

Following the recent measures taken by the Canadian Federal government regarding COVID-19, JULIEN would like to reassure its clients that the situation is being taken seriously and is being closely monitored to ensure the safety of its employees and clients, while ensuring the continuity of its operations.

JULIEN remains open.

Management has a business continuity plan in place. We have implemented security measures and recommendations to be followed by our staff at our offices and have requested our staff to implement these measures to all suppliers or clients who visits our premises. As well, we have restricted all outside travel to Julien team members and have asked them to privilege other ways to hold business meetings (for example: conference calls; skype meeting). In addition, all employees who travelled outside the country have voluntarily placed themselves in isolation for the duration of fourteen days.



We are in regular contact with our suppliers to ensure the availability of our supplies and the timely delivery of our orders. The information gathered to date indicates that there will be no delays or shortages in our supply chain. Our suppliers are operational and are doing everything necessary to ensure the continuity of their operations. Should the situation change and affect your orders, please be assured that JULIEN will keep you inform.

Production and delivery planning

In the event that your company's operations are affected by the COVID-19 crisis and that the slowdown in your operations could affect those of JULIEN, we would greatly appreciate being informed. Your collaboration will allow us to better plan our operations and ensure that we maintain the quality of service during this rather unusual period. Rest assured that we take the health of our employees and those of our clients to heart. As the situation is constantly evolving, we believe that communication is the best way to maximize the success of our business exchanges.

JULIEN would like to reassure his suppliers that the situation is taken seriously and that it is being followed closely. Please note that Julien’s operations are functioning normally with additional precautions.

Supplying and Logistics In the event that your company's operations are affected by the COVID-19 crisis and that the slowdown in your operations could affect those of JULIEN, it is imperative to communicate to us any problem or stock shortage during this critical period related to COVID -19.

We also invite you to send us your continuity plan in order to help contribute to the smooth functioning of Julien and his partners.

We are privileging phone calls or video calls for supplier meetings. If we absolutely have to meet in person, we will ask you to respect the following rules in order to?help us keep the smooth functioning of the ?company but especially for the well-being of all.

All visitors are obliged to answer the following three questions before coming at Julien:

  • Have you traveled abroad in the past few days?
  • Do you believe you have been in contact with a person infected with COVID-19?
  • Do you have symptoms associated with COVID-19 (runny nose, cough, fever, sore throat or headache, and difficulty breathing)?

If the answer is yes, to any of those 3 questions, we will refuse the visitor access to our office.


In conclusion, we have implanted a cleaning and sanitizing procedure. The product we are using to sanitize all the surfaces is the Spectreco. Also, we are cleaning the frequently used surface twice a day and we are opting for security measures:
