In recent years, in addition to its millwork plant, Julien has made several acquisitions. First a custom kitchen cabinet manufacturer: Signature Cuisines AC. Then, two major distributors of residential and commercial kitchen equipment: G. Doyon & Fils, and Félisol. These strides are undoubtedly a springboard for major projects and aspirations of the company.
2008: Corporate restructuring initiative
Its Home Refinements products will be comprised of Julien branded products and their OEM arm. While once separate entities, the consolidation of these key departments will allow for increased resources and enhanced R&D production, and will solidify Julien’s reputation as the full product solution for other brands. Julien is taking advantage of this change to refresh its logo and reposition itself in the market.

1995: New management
Current president Gilles St-Pierre and six other company executives acquired Julien Inc. The new management focused on developing its sector and its North American and international markets. Integrating noble materials such as wood, marble, granite, and slate into sheet metal products is now a reality and a winning strategy not only for Julien Inc., but also for its commercial and industrial customers

1946 : Foundation by Léo T. Julien
Julien Inc. began by selling kitchen accessories to restaurants. Noting their need for custom equipment, Léo T. Julien opened a plant and ran it until his death in 1973.
